Praying the Scriptures: 2 Thessalonians 3:16

2 Thessalonians 3:16 is a benediction prayer to be prayed over another person, or rather a group of people. 

Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times and in every way. The Lord be with all of you.

Praying the Scriptures: 1 Thessalonians 3:11-13

This prayer in 1 Thessalonians 3:11-13 is both a petition (prayer by the writer for the writer) and an intercession (praying for others)

Now may our God and Father himself and our Lord Jesus clear the way for us to come to you. May the Lord make your love increase and overflow for each other and for everyone else, just as ours does for you. May he strengthen your hearts so that you will be blameless and holy in the presence of our God and Father when our Lord Jesus comes with all his holy ones.
